EVE Developer Hit With High-Profile Layoffs

CCP Games has lost a pair of executives, and is closing its San Francisco branch, according to a company financial report.


The EVE Online developer has suffered lower sales in 2014 compared to the same time last year, the company said in the report, which was translated by Reddit user two_step. Chief marketing officer David Reid announced that he was leaving the company because travel between the U.S. and Iceland was taking its toll –– the company is also losing CFO Joe Gallo, although it's unclear whether he was laid off or decided to leave.
