PayDay 2 developer Overkill Software is collaborating with Hotline Miami team Dennaton Games on new crossover DLC for the first-person shooter.
The PayDay 2 Hotline Miami DLC is set to release on Steam on September 30, featuring a new heist and other additional details that Overkill isn't announcing yet. IGN has reached out to the studio and publisher 505 Games about whether the DLC is coming to other platforms in addition to PC.
As for why Hotline Miami DLC is coming to PayDay 2, Overkill stated that the team loves the arcade action game set in 1980s Miami. And this isn't the first time the studio has had fun with DLC for the shooter. Overkill took a playful swipe at Battlefield with the Gage Assault Pack earlier this month.
