A new update to Blizzard's Battle.net launcher suggests we're closer than ever to seeing the older Warcraft RTS titles working on modern PCs.
MMO-Champion reports a new background and icons for Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne have been added to the launcher, though no other support has been added at this time. Seeing as Blizzard revealed last year a team is hard at work on bringing the older strategy games to modern PCs, it certainly seems they may be entering the final stages of their quest.
