Fan-favorite character Sackboy is coming for free to the PS3 and PS4 versions of Costume Quest 2.
Sackboy will be available in the game as a hidden bonus and will have to be assembled from four separate pieces found in the game. He will be playable in explore mode and as a combat character whose charge-up attack is "Little Big Beat Down."
The humorous role-playing game pits players against an evil dentist trying to rid the world of cavities forever and a Time Wizard whom you have to fight on three different timescapes. The sequel to 2011's Costume Quest features update combat and two new features: a buff system known as Battle Cards and persistent health.
Midnight City has announced the release date for the PS3 and PS4 versions on October 28th for $15 USD. Release dates for other consoles is not yet known.
