Announced at WWDC 2014, Apple's OS X Yosemite computer operating will soon be making its way to MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, and Mac Pro owners.
The latest version of OS X includes a number of updates, including a slightly updated design and more connectivity options with the company's iOS-powered devices.
OS X's visuals aren't completely changed, but they do more closely resemble the operating system found on the iPhone and iPad, creating some consistency between the company's different platforms. Search functionality has also been improved, and the new Handoff feature will make it easier to work on multiple Apple devices, letting you begin work on an iOS-powered product and finish on a Mac, or vice versa.
