Next year's Free Comic Book Day will be on Saturday, May 2, and while that might seem like a long time from now, we are still excited to exclusively announce all of the Gold Level comic books that you'll be able to pick up for free. There are comics from all the big publishers, including Marvel's Secret Wars and a DC comic so shrouded in mystery that we don't even have a cover to show you. Ooo! Let the speculation run wild on that one.
For those that don't know, Free Comic Book Day is exactly what it sounds like: you can walk into your local comic book shop on that day and pick up numerous select comics for free (check out the website for more info on finding a store). The comics are usually a sampling of what a publisher has to offer in the form of multiple short stories or a setup to a big upcoming story. For example, Marvel is doing a comic that ties into their upcoming Secret Wars event.
