In 2008, AQ Interactive announced the cancellation of Cry On, an RPG in development from Hironobu Sakaguchi's studio Mistwalker. Now, almost exactly six years later, the Final Fantasy creator released a previously unseen trailer.
Sakaguchi published the trailer on his YouTube account, and it's fairly long, almost totaling four minutes. It shows a female character sprinting through overgrown ruins with a small, golem-like ally in tow as they escape from a dark substance. It also showcases music from Nobuo Uematsu, the composer of Final Fantasy fame, who was signed on to compile Cry On's score.
