Nintendo has revealed new amiibo support details for Hyrule Warriors, following a recent Nintendo Direct Presentation describing how the Link amiibo will be compatible with the game.
Using the Zelda amiibo with Hyrule Warriors will unlock a three stars or higher weapon for players to use, according to Nintendo’s amiibo product page.
The page also states that using the Link amiibo for Hyrule Warriors will unlock the Spinner weapon from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess as well as any other amiibo figure can be used once a day to obtain a weapon rated three stars or lower, a Rupee bonus or a crafting material bonus. This information follows up on Nintendo’s confirmation that any amiibo compatible with Super Smash Bros. for Wii U would also be supported by Hyrule Warriors.
